The story of L.P. “Da Assassin” is one of sheer greatness. Hailing from Dolton, Illinois, a South Suburb of Chicago, L.P. is the epitome of true perseverance. In 2006, following his entrepreneurial spirit, LP started his own label entitled Come Up Records & Entertainment known as "The C.U.R.E. for the Industry,”. Every true God given mission with a purpose will be tested. The C.U.R.E. family came to know this fact first hand when they had to come together when L.P. was in and out the hospital after he had to give his father a kidney. It was a trying time for the C.U.R.E. family to see their leader momentarily down as his existence on earth was threatened after LP risked his life to save the man who gave him life. The major surgery was just a minor setback in the career of this young superstar. After the surgery an almost 2 year hiatus L.P. rein-vented the label and added the management which is Bread Life Entertainment. Currently, L.P. and the C.U.R.E./Bread Life Family are preparing for the release of the highly anticipated mixtape series and Beyond Local EP. While knowing that the internet is the wave of the present and the future, L.P. has graced numerous online radio shows and through trials & tribulation and guided by determination and the overall will to be the best, L.P."Da Assassin" is indeed destined to reach the top, by performing all across the country from Chicago to Cleveland, Stl, Indiana, NY, and Mia to name a few cities.
