As a young inspiring artist, Filthy Rich noticed his love and passion for music in his early teens going to the clubs in New York City. While dancing and listening to music, he realized his own musical talent and gained an interest in DJing. Filthy Rich eventually moved to Manhattan to follow his dream.
Filthy Rich began DJing and throwing his own events in New York City, holding residencies at all the major clubs and lounges including Webster Hall, Lime Light, Avalon and Duvet. This curiosity of music lead to creating his own beats and eventually rapping over, the fresh new beats. Filthy’s unique sound has been inspired by hip hop favorites, BIG, Tupac, Nas, Wutang Clan, Eminem, 50 Cent, Jay Z and Lil Wayne.
Filthy’s love for all types of music allows him to produce all types of genres, including Pop, Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, electronica, dance and even country songs. Filthy Rich spends most of his time in the recording studio perfecting his sound. He thrives to stay ahead of the times and create ground breaking music.
