As you hear the famous words “Yes Sir” echo through the halls at Trac-N-Field Entertainment, you know it’s got to be Bali. With his overpowering presence and dreadlocked swag, Bali is unmistakable. Headquarters to the Runners, the studios at Trac-N-Field have become a new and welcome home for Bali.
McClyndon Randolph (a.k.a. Bali) was born and raised in the heart of one of most infamous ghettos in the south; SLG. Located in Fort Pierce, Fl, Bali reps one of many crime infested neighborhoods that make up “The Fort”.
Witness to countless vicious crimes, Bali was determined to make it out by any means necessary. Bali, an MVP basketball player for Central High, prospered and persevered through athletics; However, it wasn’t b-ball that got him out of the hood. It was his undying, unwavering, unprecedented passion for music.
Influenced by the likes of 2Pac and the Hot Boyz, Bali started writing raps in high school. After joining up with friends who shared the same interest, it was the reaction from a local buzz record that kept Bali hooked. “I loved their reactions, Everywhere I went people not only knew my name but actually liked what I was doing. F*@ that they loved it.”
His local success caught the attention of the soon to be super producer, Mayne Zane, one half of The Runners. “We linked up through a mutual friend and we just hit it off.” says Mayne. From that moment Bali’s life had been changed.
Bali reports, “I wouldn’t want to be with any other producers. There sound just fits my style exactly. Watching them (The Runners) come up, I wasn’t bout to take my s@& and shop it to someone else. We’re about loyalty and I wouldn’t be happy with myself if I was somewhere different. Its all about timing and my time is now!”
Bali’s musical talent may be his ticket out of the ghetto, but that’s not his sole intention; He realizes the horribly detrimental affect drugs and violence and the spread of HIV has inflicted not only upon his own neighborhood, but neighborhoods throughout the country. Bali’s mission is to give back to his community through knowledge, empowerment, and volunteer work. Thus far, he has already single handedly started an annual Christmas toy drive for impoverished children in Ft. Pierce, and an AIDS and HIV awareness program. Aforementioned accomplishments are merely the beginning to an array of prosperous change that Bali will ceaselessly strive to embody and employ.
