Synopsis: The story reflects on a girl "Stephanie Wilcox" and a guy "Lindsey George" , which meets at the age of seven years old . They come from different lives but they are one in the same. They immediately become best friends. As the years pass they remain best friends him defending her, and she seeing to it that he does not follow in the footsteps of the other males in his life. But when tragedy hits him at 16 years old. Lindsey lashes out and channel's his anger to the streets by misbehaving and selling drugs for a king pin "Powder" which leads to more trouble when he gets robbed and now owes "Powder" thousands of dollars. Lindsey then decides with friends to rob a bank. Stephanie does not like the path Yank is on and their friendship becomes strained and eventually broken. Before things get better they get worse for Lindsey and he gets sent to prison right before graduation.
Eight years later, he’s released from prison. Lindsey attempts to restore positivity and order to his life. He has to attend a reforming program and see a counselor. When little to his surprise his counselor happens to be Stephanie. These two try to start a new friendship, while the past still seeks revenge.
